I’m trying to be more conscious. I’m trying to eliminate gender specific invectives such as “bitch” and “cunt” from my vocabulary, in favor of more neutral phrases such as “fucking asshole” and “cocksucking motherfucker”. I think this makes me a better person.

The Pain from an Old Wound
Back in February and March, I re-watched the Wire. All 60 hours of it. JUST BECAUSE I WANTED TO, AND FOR NO OTHER REASON. It’s too soon to watch it again, probably, so I’m thinking of going back through Mad Men before the season starts, BECAUSE IT’S A GOOD SHOW AND NOT BECAUSE I NEED THE DISTRACTION I JUST WANT TO WATCH IT, OKAY? Last week my bosses gave me an iPad. This morning I walk in to find they’ve purchased a new 27 inch iMac to replace my old workstation. I guess it really has been a good first quarter for us.
